RELIABILiTY

For the fifth year in a row the American Public
Power Association (APPA) has commended
Moreno Valley Utility for continuing to provide
outstanding reliability to its customers. APPA
has analyzed reliability data from utilities around
the nation and awarded MVU the Certificate
of Excellence in Reliability. This certificate
acknowledges MVU’s placement in the top 25%
of the nation’s electric industry in terms of length
of power outages. For 2019, Moreno Valley’s
average outage of less than fifteen minutes
was drastically lower than the industry’ national
average for outages.
