STATEMENT
STATEMENT

Flexible. Adaptable. These two words describe the

second half of fiscal year 2019/2020 as Moreno

Valley Utility (MVU) employees responded to

the life-changing impacts of COVID-19 on the

utility and the community we serve. Throughout

the fiscal year, MVU staff remained committed

to providing reliable electric service in a safe

manner and exercised flexibility in providing

exceptional customer service as we adapted to

ever-changing circumstances.

This report spotlights MVU’s flexibility and

adaptability in our operations and administration

as we effectively addressed the needs of the

community during this most challenging year.

On behalf of the Mayor, City Council, Management

and staff, thank you for the opportunity to serve

the community of Moreno Valley.
