Sellers of real property located in a high or very high fire severity zone must provide the buyer with documentation stating the property is in compliance with defensible space requirements.

After July 1, 2021, when you sell a property that is located in a high or very high fire severity zone, you will need documentation of a compliant Defensible Space Inspection.
