Apply for Business Spotlight

All businesses and nonprofit organizations with a valid City of Moreno Valley business license that occupy a commercial business location or use a permitted vehicle for mobile businesses and have been in business for at least one year (as verified by Moreno Valley business license records) are eligible to apply.

Renew Business License

The Spotlight is a 30-second professional video production created  by the award-winning City of Moreno Valley media team to promote your business.  The City provides up to nine Spotlight videos each year.

The Spotlight is stored on the MV3 YouTube Channel and will be posted on the City’s website.  It runs on MVTV3 for approximately four weeks and is showcased on the City’s and Economic Development website for approximately two four weeks. It is also posted on the City’s Facebook page, BERC Facebook Page, LinkedIn and Instagram.

How it Works

  1. City staff will review the application for completeness and verify business license status.
  2. The Economic Development & Housing Director, or their designee, will review approved applications and select the business
  3. City staff will contact the business to schedule an interview / video shoot time and date.
