A 602 Letter, also known as a Trespass Letter of Authority (i.e. 602 PC Letter), is issued by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

A 602 is a formal request by a business or property owner to prosecute anyone who is loitering or engaging in any unlawful activity on their property. 

How to Submit a 602

  1. Download the 602 letter
  2. The letter must be notarized to be accepted.
  3. Once complete, it can be turned into the station in person or by postal mail:
