2021 was a year of innovation and celebration. We overcame many challenges and expanded
vital programs for our residents and businesses while continuing to navigate the pandemic.

Notably, we welcomed the return of traditional in-person services and events. The new Civic
Center Amphitheater opening brought people across the City together with exciting community
events such as Dia de los Muertos, El Grito, the Fourth of July FunFest, and more.

Thanks to the leadership of the Mayor and City Council, and the outstanding dedication and work
of our City employees, Moreno Valley continues to establish itself as the ideal place to live, work,
and play.

This annual report provides departmental metrics and highlights that demonstrate the scope of
our efforts in 2021.
