Moreno Valley Youth Conference Job & Education Expo

Moreno Valley’s Emerging Leaders Council (ELC) will host the City’s premier expo for teens & young adults. The Moreno Valley Youth Conference Job & Education Expo will provide opportunities for youth to develop confidence in foundational job searching skills. The conference will feature guest speakers, workshops, information booths, refreshments, and a chance to win raffle prizes. The Conference will take place on Saturday, May 18 from 10 am to 2 pm. This free event allows teens and young adults the opportunity to receive firsthand personalized job skill lessons from local youth development experts. 

Conference attendees will have opportunities to:

  • Develop strong interviewing skills
  • Receive tips on landing that first job 
  • Grasp vital workplace etiquette and job longevity strategies
  • Learn how to stand out among other interview candidates

Council Member Ulises Cabrera and members of the ELC will kick-off the event and introduce special guest speakers.

Registration is encouraged as seating is limited. The event will take place at Moreno Valley City Hall located at 14177 Frederick Street. For more information, please contact Kathryn Vigil at kathrynv@moval.org.
