Moreno Valley Offers Free Spay/Neuter Vouchers
For immediate release: April 25, 2019
Moreno Valley pet owners who want to prevent unwanted litters of puppies and kittens and comply with City law can do both, for FREE! The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter will offer 75 free spay and neuter vouchers starting on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. The free vouchers are exclusively for Moreno Valley residents and are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Animal Shelter. The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is located at 14041 Elsworth Street, between Cactus and Alessandro. The Shelter is open Tues. – Fri., 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sat., 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Pets must be at least four months old to qualify for a voucher, and pet owners must show proof of residency in Moreno Valley, such as a valid driver license, other forms of identification, or a current utility bill showing a Moreno Valley address. Vouchers can be claimed for up to two pets per household and can be used at veterinary clinics designated by the Animal Shelter. Animals currently impounded at the Shelter are not eligible for this program.
The 75 free vouchers expire June 27, so it’s best to make an appointment for a spay/neuter procedure as soon as the voucher is claimed.
