COMMUNITY & ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
MVU actively works with the Economic Development Department to attract
businesses and jobs to the City by offering Economic Development Rates and

being responsive, flexible, and sensitive to the needs of the business.

In addition, MVU offers additional discounts to businesses through the Hire

MoVal program. Savings to these customers is realized through hiring Moreno

Valley residents that make up 20%-40% of their workforce. MVU is proud to

assist local businesses hire local employees.

MVU has taken steps to expand our presence in the community by partnering

with the Parks and Community Services Department, participating in several

Chamber of Commerce events, and developing relationships with customers

in the community through our Key Account Program.
