Some Moreno Valley residents have been targeted by scammers impersonating Moreno Valley Utility (MVU) staff in an attempt to fraudulently collect payments on supposed late electricity bills.  The scammers threaten that electrical service will be shut off if immediate payment is not made.

MVU does not call customers to demand payment for a late bill or ask for any personal or banking information.

If you receive such a call, please hang up and notify Moreno Valley Utility at 844-341-6469.

REMINDER: To assist our customers during the COVID-19  pandemic and the potential financial hardships caused by it, MVU has suspended service disconnections and late fees until further notice.
