                            & HOUSING


        The Business and Employment Resource Center (BERC) served nearly 27,000 customers, hosted
        over 200 workforce training workshops, and over 260 small business workshops. Thousands of
        job seekers and students attended the quarterly job fairs at the Conference & Recreation
        Center, connecting with the finest local employers and tradespeople.

        More businesses opened in the city, including 85°C Bakery Cafe, ALUX, CAVA, Krak Boba, and
        Dutch Bros Coffee.


        Courtyards at Cottonwood Phase II opened providing 32 additional affordable housing units.
        In partnership with Congressman Takano, secured $1  million in federal funding for a New
        Workforce Development Building.
