About the Program

The MoVal Rental Rescue Program provides emergency rental and financial assistance in an effort to keep Moreno Valley Residents affected by COVID-19 housed.

This project is being supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number ERA0351 awarded to the City of Moreno Valley by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

Tenants can check their application status below. Applicants can access their application using the email address provided on their application.

For Landlords

Landlords who have tenants that are behind on rent can initiate the application process on behalf of their tenants by completing the intake form below. If you are the landlord for more than one rental household, you will need to submit a form for each rental household.

What Happens Next for Landlords

Once you have completed the landlord intake form, your tenant will be notified by phone and by email and will receive specific instructions on how to complete the tenant portion of the application. Because you have initiated the application process, your tenant DOES NOT have to apply directly on this website.
