Day of the Dead

Day of the Dead/Artfest

Celebrate and commemorate departed loved ones at this festive event.

What is the Day of the Dead?
The Day of the Dead (El Dia de Los Muertos), is a holiday celebrated in Latin culture where families commemorate and welcome back the souls of those they have lost. Those honoring the deceased will place offerings on their altars (ofrendas), such as their favorite foods and personal gifts. Music and dance are also used to awaken the souls and reunite families together again. This celebration dates back 3000 years and is continued to be a tradition throughout multiple generations today. Come celebrate your loved ones on The Day of the Dead!
