Do you have a furry friend who can dress in a patriotic trend? If so, we challenge you to participate in the 4th of July Pet Costume Contest!

Prizes
Prizes will be awarded to the top contestant in each category.
Contest Guidelines
Important Dates
- Enter:
now through June 29
- Winners announced:
July 7th
- Prizes delivered: July 7th
- To enter, post your photo on social media:
- include the category name
- use hash tags #MOVALPARKS and #MOVALPETS - Profile must be public to participate
- Entries will be accepted until June 29 and will be judged by a group of independent panelists
- Winners will be posted on the City’s Facebook page (@CityofMorenoValley) on July 7
- Prizes will be awarded to the top contestant in each category
- Be creative and have fun!
Rules
- Your pet-friendly photo can be silly, cute, spontaneous, creative, and fun!
- Photos must be family friendly and are not to contain profanity or other offensive or inappropriate subject matter
- Pet costumes must be family-friendly
- This event is open to any type of pet
- One pet per photo entry

In all cases, the decisions of the judges are final
Photo Tips
- Take your picture horizontally
- Position your pet facing a window or outside. If bright lights are behind your pet, turn them off
- If using a smartphone, tap image/face on the phone so that the camera will properly focus
