Research shows that making art has positive personal benefits, from building focus, to relieving stress or anxiety, to forming new neural pathways in your brain. Creative Studio participants have the opportunity to exhibit their work at the Festival of Arts on Saturday, March 11. Information on turning your art hobby into a side gig will also be shared with workshop participants.
The Creative Studio project is supported in whole or in part by the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA), administered in California by the State Librarian. The California State Library awarded the Moreno Valley Public Library a Copycat grant of $9,611 in LSTA funding for program supplies and professional instructors.
