City of Moreno Valley Celebrates Santiago Park Grand Opening

Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez and the Moreno Valley City Council officially dedicated Santiago Park, Moreno Valley's 33rd and newest park, on Wednesday, March 23.

Hundreds of families joined the Mayor and City Council to welcome Santiago Park to the Moreno Valley community.

"Moreno Valley's parks serve as the beating heart of our City," said Dr. Yxstian Gutierrez, Mayor of Moreno Valley. "They’re places where the community can gather, celebrate milestones, take a leisurely walk, and spend a beautiful day outside. I am proud to open more parks and trails for families across the City to enjoy."

Located at 24731 Tiger Avenue, Santiago Park features a brand new playground, basketball courts, shaded picnic areas, a walking trail, acres of green space, and a unique outdoor fitness center where residents can perform 84 different exercises.

Santiago Park results from a public-private partnership with the City of Moreno Valley and Meritage Homes.

La Ciudad de Moreno Valley Celebra la Gran Inauguración del Santiago Park

El Alcalde Yxstian Gutiérrez y el Concejo Municipal de Moreno Valley inauguraron oficialmente Santiago Park, el parque número 33 y más nuevo de Moreno Valley, el miércoles 23 de marzo.

Cientos de familias se unieron con el Alcalde y el Concejo Municipal para dar la bienvenida a Santiago Park a la comunidad de Moreno Valley.

"Los parques de Moreno Valley sirven como el corazón palpitante de nuestra ciudad", dijo el Dr. Yxstian Gutiérrez, Alcalde de Moreno Valley. "Son lugares donde la comunidad puede reunirse, celebrar hitos, dar un paseo tranquilo y pasar un hermoso día al aire libre. Me enorgullece abrir más parques y senderos para que disfruten las familias de toda la ciudad".

Ubicado en 24731 Tiger Avenue, Santiago Park cuenta con un nuevo parque infantil, canchas de baloncesto, áreas de pícnic con sombra, un sendero para caminar, acres de espacios verdes y un exclusivo gimnasio al aire libre donde los residentes pueden realizar 84 ejercicios diferentes.

Santiago Park es el resultado de una asociación público-privada con la ciudad de Moreno Valley y Meritage Homes.
