Statement by Mayor Gutierrez on Demonstrations in Cuba
For immediate release: July 14, 2021
I stand with the Cuban people and hear their cries for a change in regime. As a Venezuelan-American, the inhumanity occurring in Cuba is atrocious and too similar to what is happening in Venezuela. I share the people’s pain, frustration, and hope for a better tomorrow.
Please consider donating to the Cuban Red Cross, First-Hand Aid, Global Volunteers, or any other non-profit organization to provide humanitarian aid. We will do our part!

Declaración del Alcalde Gutiérrez sobre Demostraciones en Cuba
Yo apoyo la gente de Cuba y escucho sus gritos por un cambio de régimen. Como venezolano-estadounidense, la inhumanidad que está ocurriendo en Cuba es atroz y muy similar a lo que está sucediendo en Venezuela. Comparto el dolor, la frustración y la esperanza para una mañana mejor.
Considere hacer una donación a Cuban Red Cross, First-Hand Aid, Global Volunteers o cualquier otra organización sin fines de lucro para brindar ayuda humanitaria. ¡Haremos nuestra parte!
