News Release

Neighborhood Watch Program Seeks Volunteers

For immediate release: November 27, 2018

Neighborhood Watch

Help enhance the safety of our parks and neighborhoods

The City of Moreno Valley is looking for residents who are interested in forming a Neighborhood Watch program to help enhance the safety of our parks and neighborhoods.

Every day, we encounter situations that require us to be the eyes and ears of law enforcement. A Neighborhood Watch is made up of neighbors who want to be those eyes and ears.

Not only does neighborhood watch allow residents to help in the fight against crime, it is also an opportunity for members of our communities to bond through service.

Public safety is everyone’s responsibility, and together we can make a real difference.

If you are interested in learning about forming a Neighborhood Watch in your area and other proven crime prevention strategies, please contact the Moreno Valley Police Department – Community Services Unit at 951.486.6720, or email Officer Landry at knmirabe@riversidesheriff.org.
